Serving the Essential Workforce Since January 7, 1947

State Employees, Inc. (SEI) is a member-supported 501(c)(7) social and recreational organization serving eligible members of the essential workforce — teachers, civil servants, first responders, veterans and university staff. Founded January 7, 1947. SEI is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Qualifying charitable initiatives are administered through The Foundation for American Service (FAS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, separately from SEI membership dues and member-benefit activities.
