1. About This Policy
State Employees, Inc. (SEI) is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit organization, fiscally sponsored by The Foundation for American Service (FAS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the information necessary to verify eligibility and process membership: name, email address, organization affiliation and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card data). Identity verification is handled by ID.me. For manual vouching requests, we may collect organizational documentation.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to verify eligibility, process membership payments, deliver member benefits and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell, rent or share member data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. ID.me Verification
Paid membership tiers require eligibility verification through ID.me, a government-grade identity service. If verification fails, all registration data and account information are permanently deleted immediately. Members unable to use ID.me may request manual vouching by emailing mnsei.inc@gmail.com.
5. Wellness Hub Access Logging
The system logs when a member accesses the Wellness Hub. This log is used solely to enforce the refund policy: refund requests are not available to members who have accessed the Wellness Hub during the current membership period.
6. Payments & Financial Data
All payments are processed through Stripe. SEI does not store any credit card or banking information. All financial data is subject to Stripe’s privacy and security standards.
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting mnsei.inc@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
